In honor of being named one of Engineering News-Record's #Top400Contractors for the fourth consecutive year, we wanted to showcase some pictures from the past 12 months that highlight the wonderful year we have had. From closing out projects like the Shrewsbury Police Station and DeBerry Swan Elementary School, to holding groundbreaking ceremonies for new projects such as the William R. Peck and Tyngsborough Middle Schools, to celebrating our 90th year in business, 2023-2024 has been one of our best years yet. We are beyond thankful to the Fontaine Team, our clients, partners, and the communities we've been privileged to serve for helping us continue to grow and flourish. #thankyou

William R. Peck Middle School Groundbreaking

Members of the Fontaine team were honored to attend Friday's Groundbreaking Ceremony for Holyoke Public Schools new middle school, a project for which we were selected to serve as the General Contractor. Approved in June 2023, the 550-student middle school represents a critical step in Holyoke's educational evolution, replacing the currently outdated and energy-inefficient Peck Middle School. The design of the new school draws inspiration from our successful project at Goodnow Brothers Elementary School in Marlborough, a testament to our expertise in educational infrastructure and leadership in the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA)'s Model School Program. We are honored to be entrusted with this project and look forward to delivering a state-of-the-art school to the Holyoke community in the second half of 2025!

Welcome to the 26th annual Women in Construction Week!

Kicking off the National Association of Women in Construction's #WomenInConstructionWeek with words from our Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Impact, Elizabeth Wambui! "Welcome to the 26th annual Women in Construction Week! The guiding theme for this week is Keys to the Future, with the goal of helping us all learn more about the vital role women play in shaping the future of the construction industry. We’re excited to join all our project partners, subcontractors, labor, and training partners and more to celebrate women throughout the entire workforce, to learn and engage in dialogue and to set a path forward to continue to create pathways to meaningful careers for women in the construction industry, now and in the future.” #WomenInConstruction #BuildingTheFuture
