Fontaine Awarded Crocker Elementary School Project in Fitchburg

The Crocker Elementary School project consists of the construction of a new, 2 story, 116,000 SF elementary school building adjacent to the current school. The new school will provide updated 21st century learning environment with containing modern classrooms, offices, Cafetorium Space, Media and Art spaces, and Gymnasium. The sitework will include regrading, new parking areas, driveways, walkways, and plantings. The abatement and demolition of the existing Crocker Elementary School building will occur after the new building is occupied.

This project will transform an existing space into a state-of-the-art facility featuring advanced technology, collaborative work areas, and specialized spaces for digital media production. With construction taking place during the academic year, our team will work closely with the school to ensure minimal disruption to students, faculty, and campus life. Topping Off Ceremony for the UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences Hub

Last week, the Fontaine Team celebrated the Topping Off Ceremony for the UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences Hub! This tradition marks the placement of the final steel beam, symbolizing a major milestone in the construction process. When finished, the Hub will serve as the heart of the only publicly accredited School of Public Health in New England—providing a unified space where students can collaborate, access advising and support services, and utilize state-of-the-art classrooms and seminar spaces.
