It is with great excitement that we announce that we have been selected to provide Construction Management at-Risk Services for the UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences (SPHHS) Hub.

This project involves the construction of a new 26,800 square foot School of Public Health & Health Sciences Building that will include flexible, team-based learning classrooms, office space, time-shared cubicles, conferencing facilities, and open areas designed for informal work and collaboration.

Dating back to the construction of the Fine Arts Center in 1975, we have delivered thirteen successful projects at the University of Massachusetts Amherst including new construction and renovations touching nearly every department on campus. All of us here at Fontaine Bros. hold with great pride the history that we have on the UMass Amherst campus and we look forward to building on that legacy with this project!

Fontaine Named to Engineering News-Record's #Top400Contractors

In honor of being named one of Engineering News-Record's #Top400Contractors for the fourth consecutive year, we wanted to showcase some pictures from the past 12 months that highlight the wonderful year we have had. From closing out projects like the Shrewsbury Police Station and DeBerry Swan Elementary School, to holding groundbreaking ceremonies for new projects such as the William R. Peck and Tyngsborough Middle Schools, to celebrating our 90th year in business, 2023-2024 has been one of our best years yet. We are beyond thankful to the Fontaine Team, our clients, partners, and the communities we've been privileged to serve for helping us continue to grow and flourish. #thankyou

Dean Tech Students Tour the Peck Middle School Jobsite!

Last week, Sean Sheedy from the Holyoke School Department and Carlos Amaral from Anser Advisory led a tour of the new William R. Peck Middle School project for Dean Tech High School faculty, administrators and students from the carpentry and electrical shops. Charlie Payne from the Carpenters Union, Mayor Joshua A. Garcia, City Council Member Juan Anderson-Burgos, Superintendent Anthony Soto, and State Rep. Patricia Duffy were present as well. It was a great opportunity to showcase this exciting project and highlight the possible career paths available to the students! #SchoolConstruction #FutureOfEducation
