Topping off Ceremony at Doherty Memorial High School

Doherty Memorial High School is the largest project in Worcester’s history and it is the third new school Fontaine has had the honor to build with our client, the City of Worcester, in the past decade. At the May 26th topping off ceremony, Fontaine-Dimeo celebrated with students, supporters, and local officials including State Representative John Mahoney, MSBA’s Executive Director, Jack McCarthy; the City of Worcester’s Superintendent of Schools, Maureen Binienda; and School Committee Member, Jermaine Johnson. We also bid a fond farewell to City Manager, Ed Augustus. With site safety always a priority, the hard work continues building this 422,000 SF state-of-the-art high school adjacent to the existing Doherty Memorial High School. This project is a reflection the community’s authentic commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.

Fontaine Named to Engineering News-Record's #Top400Contractors

In honor of being named one of Engineering News-Record's #Top400Contractors for the fourth consecutive year, we wanted to showcase some pictures from the past 12 months that highlight the wonderful year we have had. From closing out projects like the Shrewsbury Police Station and DeBerry Swan Elementary School, to holding groundbreaking ceremonies for new projects such as the William R. Peck and Tyngsborough Middle Schools, to celebrating our 90th year in business, 2023-2024 has been one of our best years yet. We are beyond thankful to the Fontaine Team, our clients, partners, and the communities we've been privileged to serve for helping us continue to grow and flourish. #thankyou

Garcia, City Council Member Juan Anderson-Burgos, Superintendent Anthony Soto, and State Rep. Patricia Duffy were present as well. It was a great opportunity to showcase this exciting project and highlight the possible career paths available to the students! #SchoolConstruction #FutureOfEducation
