Fontaine Bros. Completes Pope Francis High School

Fontaine Bros. served as the Construction Manager working with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield and CBT Architects to deliver this new High School. This $47.6 million project consisted of a new school that was successfully completed on schedule in August, 2018. This project houses 600 students in a new four-story state-of-the-art high school. The project called for the complete abatement and demolition of a tornado damaged school. The new 114,900 SF Pope Francis High School included energy efficient MEP systems and 21st Century Learning technology and collaborative spaces. The building included multiple academic classrooms, a gymnasium, athletic fields, auditorium and science classrooms. This CM at Risk project was managed with the highest attention to safety and control given its proximity to a neighboring elementary school and dense residential neighborhood.
