This week, our Beal Elementary School project team in Shrewsbury hosted an enthusiastic group of local second grade students. The students had the opportunity to walk the site with Superintendent, Jim Morin and Project Manager, Frank Payeur to see how the project is progressing and see the structural steel being erected.
The students are participating in the FIRST LEGO League Jr. program where this year’s challenge is called “Boomtown Build”. The students meet weekly to explore STEM concepts in their community leading up to a presentation of their projects to be held at Shrewsbury High School in the spring.
Good luck kids!
