Fontaine Bros. awarded Marlborough Elementary School

Fontaine Bros. was recently awarded the Marlborough Elementary School Project working with the City of Marlborough and Mount Vernon Group, Inc. The school is scheduled to be complete in June of 2020.

Fontaine Bros. Completes Granby Elementary School

Fontaine Bros. worked along side the Town of Granby and Jones Whitsett Architects to complete the Granby Elementary School in Granby, MA this past Fall, 2018. This project combined two elementary schools by adding 31,730 SF of new building, and renovation of the existing 37,030 SF East Meadow School building. The completed design of the addition consisted of new Pre-K through second grade classrooms, as well as new administrative offices, and a new gym complete with a new performance stage.

Fontaine Bros. Completes Pope Francis High School

Fontaine Bros. served as the Construction Manager working with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield and CBT Architects to deliver the new 114,900 SF four-story Pope Francis Preparatory School completed on-time in August, 2018. The project called for the complete abatement and demolition of a tornado damaged school. The new Pope Francis High School included energy efficient MEP systems and 21st Century Learning technology and collaborative spaces.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Worcester South High School

Today we celebrate the groundbreaking of the Worcester South High Community School. South High will consist of 360,000 SF new state-of-the-art school with a projected construction budget of $170 million; the largest project in the City's history. Today, the project team, city of Worcester, staff, and community, all came together to celebrate this wonderful day in history, changing the future of education for the students who will have the pleasure to walk the halls of the new South High in 2021!

Fontaine Bros. Celebrates 85 Years in Business!

In July of 1933, Dave Fontaine Sr’s grandfather and his brother founded a construction company. We are proud to be celebrating 85 years in business! For more than eight decades, Fontaine Bros. has prospered and become one of the most highly respected contractors in New England. David Sr. has been our President for the past 20 years. Templeton Elementary School Breaks Ground

"Hughes said the project is moving with speed, as the actual groundbreaking took place about a month before the ceremony, as the Fontaine Brothers took advantage of the good weather to move the project along ahead of time."

Fontaine Bros. awarded the Templeton Elementary School

The Templeton Elementary School project consists of the construction of a new 93,000 SF Pre-K through grade five school facility in Templeton, MA. The new school includes a three-story building with classroom wings, a gymnasium, cafeteria / auditorium, kitchen, administrative areas, and support spaces.

Fontaine Bros. awarded the Culinary and Nutrition Center

The Springfield Public School system is a large and diverse community, with approximately 26,000 students, about 4,000 employees, and nearly 60 schools. The Culinary and Nutrition Center project is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support the SPS food service program expansion plan.

Fontaine Bros. Completes Nelson Place Elementary School in Worcester

The new Nelson Place Elementary School project consists of a new pre-kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school, constructed behind the existing, fully-occupied Nelson Place School. This project was successfully completed just behind the existing school without causing disruption to the school or the surrounding neighborhood. At its closest point, the new building was erected only 55 feet from the former school building. Utilizing “blackout hours,” Fontaine restricted construction vehicle and delivery traffic to specific times to ensure that there were no interruptions to the school day.

Fontaine Bros. Completes Plymouth Town Hall

Fontaine Bros. completes the $40 million project to the Plymouth town hall. This project consisted of the renovation of an existing 11,000 SF and addition of 62,000 SF of the 1820 Courthouse building.
