City View Student Housing | College of the Holy Cross
The City View Student Housing project at College of the Holy Cross was developed to address the college’s growing need for modern on-campus housing while enhancing the residential student experience. The phased project includes the construction of townhouse-style residence halls along City View Street, creating a more independent, apartment-style living environment for upperclass students.
The initial phase involved the construction of a new three-story wood-frame residence hall on the north side of City View Street, delivering 18 townhouse-style units with a total of 144 student beds. The project also included the demolition of existing structures, extensive site preparation, utility work, and campus infrastructure improvements to support the redevelopment. Designed to complement both the surrounding neighborhood and the character of the campus, the new housing provides students with modern amenities and a vibrant residential community environment.
Part of the college’s long-term campus housing strategy, the City View Townhouses expanded the school’s residential capacity while supporting continued campus growth and student life initiatives.
