The athletic field renovation project at Elms College included the demolition of existing athletic fields and the construction of a new NCAA-compliant softball field and multi-use synthetic turf field located behind the Maguire Center. The project featured extensive site work, drainage infrastructure, and Versa-Lok retaining walls to support the new athletic complex.
The new 72 x 120-yard artificial turf field, constructed with FieldTurf monofilament Prestige Series surfacing and a Musco lighting system, serves as the home venue for Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Field Hockey, and Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse. The $1.71 million renovation modernized the college’s athletic facilities while creating a durable, high-performance environment for student-athletes and spectators.
