Fontaine served as Construction Manager for the Digital Media Lab and Studio project at Salisbury School in Salisbury, Connecticut. This interior renovation transformed an existing campus space into a modern digital media facility designed to support video production, audio recording, and digital content creation.
Designed by Gensler, the project included upgrades to electrical and data infrastructure, specialized lighting systems, and acoustic considerations to support high-quality recording environments. The new space features a broadcast studio with flexible filming areas, editing and post-production workstations, and collaborative workspaces that allow students to move seamlessly from concept through production.
Now home to the Class of 2025 Broadcast Studio and the renovated Buehner Media Lab, the completed facility provides students with hands-on access to tools and environments that reflect real-world media production.
Construction took place during the academic year, requiring careful coordination, phasing, and logistics to minimize disruption to students, faculty, and daily campus activity while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
