Fairview Hospital Expansion

Fontaine is serving as construction manager for the $70 million revitalization of Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that has served Southern Berkshire County for more than a century. The project adds a new 50,000 SF outpatient building east of the existing hospital, bringing modernized emergency, radiology, and surgical suites along with the campus's first on-site MRI, plus a renovated patient floor within the existing facility. Site work includes a geothermal system, new Lewis Avenue entrance, and expanded parking. Construction is progressing on an active hospital campus, with phased sequencing preserving continuous Emergency Department access throughout.
