Completed in 2004, the Springfield College Residence Hall—commonly known as the Senior Suites—was delivered by Fontaine Brothers as part of the College’s long-term campus housing expansion strategy. The four-story, suite-style residence hall was designed to enhance upperclass student living and strengthen Springfield College’s residential village model.
The building provides apartment-style accommodations featuring four- and six-person suites, each including private bedrooms, shared living rooms, kitchens, and full bathrooms. Common areas, lounges, and support spaces were integrated throughout the facility to encourage community engagement while offering a more independent living experience for students.
Constructed to support increasing enrollment and improve on-campus residency rates, the project played a key role in modernizing student housing and establishing a contemporary residential environment that blends privacy, comfort, and community within a traditional campus setting.
