Fontaine completed the Simmons Dormitory at Deerfield Academy in the Fall of 2022 after a 1-year COVID delay. The project included the construction of a new 33,000 SF dormitory which featured 20 student rooms, 4 faculty apartments and a large of common space that connected to the existing 1989 Denunzio dormitory. The project involved renovation and upgrades to the adjacent 17,000 SF 1989 Denunzio dormitory. Along with the addition and renovation, 1949 Dewey Infirmary was demolished to accommodate the new building. During the COVID delay, Fontaine completed work in multiple buildings across the campus making health and safety modifications for the well-being of the students, faculty, and staff at Deerfield Academy.
