Renovation of the existing 37,000 SF Skinner Hall and construction of a 12,000 SF addition for the UMass Amherst School of Nursing, completed around 2008. The project involved a full interior gut and modernization of the existing building, transforming it into a high-performance academic and clinical training facility. Work included new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology systems, along with the integration of advanced nursing simulation and skills labs, upgraded classrooms, and support spaces. The addition and renovations together created a modern, flexible learning environment designed to support hands-on healthcare education and evolving instructional methods on the Amherst campus.
