Templeton Elementary School

Templeton, Massachusetts

The Templeton Elementary School project consisted of the construction of a new 93,000 SF Pre-K through grade five. Included in the scope of work was the demolition of the former school building and improvements to the project site and adjacent roadways. The new school included a three-story building with classroom wings, a gymnasium, cafeteria/auditorium, kitchen, administrative areas, and support spaces. Site elements included two playgrounds, a sizable pedestrian plaza, and seat walls constructed with bricks salvaged from the former school building.

Located in the center of town, this construction project was completed only a few feet away from both residential and commercial neighbors on all sides of the school property. The project was on schedule and turned over to the staff and students for the Fall of 2019.
