Scheduled to open in Fall of 2024, 162,000 SF new middle school in Walpole MA with an expected enrollment of 1,000 students in grades 6 through 8. This new school will bring the students of both Bird and Johnston middle schools together into one building. The project is designed to be “Net Zero” ready and will be constructed on the grounds of the fully occupied Bird Middle School. The construction will be driven significantly by the logistics required to keep the existing Bird middle school and adjacent athletic fields operating safely.
