The Marlborough Goodnow Brothers Elementary School project delivered a new 111,430 SF, MSBA-funded K–5 elementary school designed for over 700 students, replacing the former facility on the same site at 441 Bolton Street. Built as part of the Massachusetts School Building Authority Core Program, the project provides approximately 25 modern classrooms along with a gymnasium, cafetorium, and flexible multi-use learning spaces to support contemporary educational programming. The scope included full site redevelopment, foundations, structural steel, building envelope, interior finishes, and complete mechanical systems, all coordinated within a constrained occupied-campus environment. Designed to NE-CHPS v3.1 standards, the facility emphasizes energy efficiency, improved indoor air quality, and 21st-century learning environments, reflecting Marlborough’s commitment to modern, high-performance educational infrastructure.
